Since I became a DJ full-time about 10 years ago now, I had amazing moments but also less good ones.

There’s a lots of expectation and phantasies around the profession of DJ
but the truth is it’s only a job.

Of course it comes from a place of passion and love for sure but behind the scenes, it can be though.

I’ve been asked few months ago to help collecting stories of DJs around the world.

Stories not always expected often singular, funny most of the times that gives a good overview of that job

The book just came out: it’s very refreshing and puts in perspective this profession especially after the two years we’ve just had.

Hope you enjoy it and you look a bit differently at your local disc-jokey.

it’s album of the year time innit.

For me it’s been difficult to choose because so many good music came out duringW this crazy year 2021.

Lockdown times are ideal for creators 🙌🏼

I managed to organize a top three and from the top three I decided to go for a number one

Number one is

One half of British underground phenomenon Saul his album is really a good representation of what is London music scene: broken beats, house, modern soul, with a twist of old school, spoken words as well as amazing vocalists

Favorite track: Passing Clouds

Number 2 is

i came to her music via that hybrid single ‘Movementt’ and when her album came out last summer, I was curious. Emma-Jean is an amazing musician, a genuine music lover and a lovely soul. Her show on wwfm is packed with gems too. i highly recommend ‘Yellow’ her debut LP.

Favorite track: Say Something

3rd favorite record of the year is a bit different to the rest.

it’s the latest output by

British musician and very singular artist, his last LP is connecting the dots between 2 passions of mine : music and meditation/wellness.

His record is a true gift. Listening to it always brings a real mix of feelings inside myself. And peace mostly.

I really think it’s a beautiful thing that it come out in those tormented times..

There are times in life where you leave those records on their shelves for months! Gathering dust, being hardly played, you almost regret being attached to wax so much...

And there are times where you have twice the opportunity in one single week to take them out!

And this week it’s the case ! It feels like going down in the cellar and getting out the best bottles for your friends :D

First ‘real’ summer holidays in AGES.

It felt super good to touch down for 3 WEEKS (!) on home-turf: Marseille and the surrounding coast!

As a result it’s my first artist playlist on in a while but this one is GOLD 💛

So much things have been told about wellness and meditation.

it has become something very hyped, very ‘cool’.

The truth is you don’t start to understand the benefit of meditation until you actually sit down and do it yourself

The journey of meditation started 4 years ago for me. Meditating daily has become as natural as brushing my teeth. i’ve met amazing people along the way, on their own journey. But mostly I’ve met myself. I could not imagine my life without meditation now.

So am naturally very glad that my better half feels the same 💜.

Today, like each second Sunday of the month, .fm gives us a platform to share our love for meditation and music. Our 2 favorite things in life.

We will celebrate National Simplicity day (12 July) by asking our guests what are their approaches for a simpler life. And of course we play the perfect tunes for a Sunday

Ive met Nicolas/The Reflex about 10 years ago. He is the quiet type. Humble, very discreet. But also a hardworking guy.

While lots of people are seeking for the spotlight, obsessed w/ selfies and focusing more on the number of followers than the music Nicolas has been working in the dark.

Literally. Nights after nights in the studio working on improving his craft. I’ve always respected him for that. I’ve always been impressed by his output, his focus and dedication.

I’m really pleased for him that after 10 years of hard work he’s realizing something that not a lot of people realize: working with his idols.

Today sees the release of 2 official remixes by for . They sound solid and definitely bring something to the originals.

Good work Nicolas can’t wait to hear your next stuff bro 💟
