ZURAWSKI V TEXAS (directed by Maisie Crow & Abbie Perrault) and MEDIHA (directed by Hasan Oswald and executive produced by Emma Thompson) both chronicle the journeys of brave young women using deeply personal stories to fight for justice—one challenges oppressive abortion laws in the U.S., while the other reclaims autonomy and healing after surviving ISIS captivity.

This Refugee Week, come together and use your commUnity as a superpower to spark change. ❤️

From 16–22 June, we're inviting schools, community groups, and organisations to host screenings of two powerful films that reflect the strength and resilience of communities in the face of displacement and loss.

🎬 MEDIHA, directed by Hasan Oswald, is a powerful testament to the human spirit, Mediha turns her camera on herself to process her trauma while rescuers search for her missing family members, revealing the strength and determination of a young survivor.
🎬 THE WALK, directed by Tamara Kotevska, follows the journey of Amal, a 12 foot giant puppet. Amal is a young refugee girl who is travelling from the Syrian border in Turkey, all the way across Europe, trying to find a home.
