From August 2010, Kool FM was rebranded as Kool London and now operates as a global internet radio station, Kool London, provides a live audio stream of daily radio shows on its relaunched website. Kool London have also launched the Kool Archives, a Mediafire account that is regularly updated with recordings of the live shows and has recordings that span from 1992 to the present day.

Lenzman is widely regarded as a leading architect of modern drum & bass. Celebrated for his soulful, deeply emotive production, he has long been a vanguard of the liquid funk and deep drum & bass movements, crafting music with as much heart as groove. In 2016, he channelled this distinct musical vision into his own imprint, The North Quarter. The label has since evolved from a personal passion project into a vital collective, shaping the future of soulful bass music through a carefully curated roster of like-minded artists.

Following his recent health struggles, the hospital has decided to stop treatment, focusing his remaining time at home with his family while bravely continuing to write music and guide the label. You can support Lenzman and his family through the fundraiser link in his bio.

Founded in 1992 by Andy C and Ant Miles, RAM Records became one of the defining forces in drum & bass, shaping the sound of the genre through a relentless focus on technical precision, heavyweight engineering, and uncompromising dancefloor energy. At a time when jungle was rapidly evolving, RAM pushed toward a colder, more futuristic sound — sharp drums, intricate bass design, and a sense of tension that felt built for dark rooms and powerful systems.

From the groundbreaking RAM Trilogy productions to the unmistakable impact of Origin Unknown and Moving Fusion, the label helped define the blueprint for late-90s techstep and the next generation of dancefloor drum & bass. Every release carried a sense of scale and intent: futuristic yet functional, aggressive yet deeply refined.

Rooted in London’s pirate radio and rave culture, with Andy C involved with Kool FM during the late 90’s, RAM evolved from underground institution to global powerhouse without ever losing its identity. More than just a label, it became a benchmark for progression within drum & bass. A platform where innovation and rave energy always went hand in hand.

Singularity is a London-based collective who put a modern twist on old skool UK dance music and rave heritage. In the past 7 years they’ve put on over 90 conceptual, boundary pushing nights in the capital and beyond.

Rooted in UK soundsystem culture, Singularity nights are a melting pot of old skool classics and fresh dubs from rising producers. You’ll hear anything from jungle, drum & bass and hardcore to 4x4, bassline, acid and more.

The next step in their journey is this summer’s - their first festival in Northamptonshire.

Dillinja, AKA Karl Francis, is considered one of the key producers in the development of Drum and Bass. Emerging in the early 1990s, his work became associated with a heavier, more technically focused approach to bass design and sound system engineering.

The 1995 release of “The Angels Fell” is often cited as an important record in the evolution of jungle production, particularly for its atmospheric detail and low-end emphasis. Through extensive use and manipulation of the Roland TR-808 kick drum, Dillinja helped popularise the “rolling” bassline style — a fluid, sustained low-frequency sound that became a defining characteristic of many late-90s Drum and Bass records. His productions were also noted for their careful separation of sub-bass and percussion frequencies, allowing tracks to retain clarity at high volumes.

A focus on sound reproduction later led to the development of the Valve Sound System, a custom-built rig designed to handle the extreme low-end range present in his music. The system became closely associated with Dillinja and the wider Valve Recordings label, reflecting a broader shift in Drum and Bass culture toward larger-scale, bass-focused live experiences. Through both his productions and sound system work, Dillinja played a significant role in shaping the weight, dynamics, and physicality associated with modern bass music.

Founded in 2001 by Marcus Intalex and , Soul:r stood apart as a label with a clear and uncompromising vision. It bridged the raw energy of the underground with the warmth and depth of soul, creating a sound that felt both refined and deeply human. Every release carried a sense of intention: minimal yet rich, understated yet powerful, eschewing trends in favor of timelessness.

From the iconic Soul:ution nights to the revered Four:fit EP series, Soul:r cultivated a sonic identity that pushed beyond the boundaries of liquid drum & bass. It drew from techno’s precision, jazz’s fluidity, and a deep-rooted sense of musicality, resulting in records that were as thoughtful as they were moving.

Born out of Manchester’s rich musical heritage, the label acted as a beacon for quality over quantity. More than just a label, Soul:r was a statement of taste and integrity. It was a platform where artistry always came first.
