How had adulthood shaped your perceptive or understanding of life?
Adulting has taught me that life is unpredictable and humbling.
Life’s struggles can be unexpected. I understand that some people are not making much effort to change their narratives, but you see this life!! Please be kind and humble. I now understand that nobody is invisible, we can also experience joblessness, homelessness, losses, financial hardship or breakdown and death. Life can also bring unexpected breakthroughs, promotions and favours. I no longer judge people who are struggling with one or two things in life. We all have a limited experiences in life and it’s wrong not to show empathy, compassion , respect and love to others and to oneself.
Adulting should teach everyone humility. Don’t judge what you haven’t experienced. No one is above life’s ups and downs. As an adult I choose kindness, understanding, patience and I try hard to practice empathy, compassion and love for myself and others.
Life is spiritual indeed. Do you know that-
1. Many people have the ability to strive for a fair share of good things in life, but life isn't fair to them.
2. Some people want financial freedom, but harsh life experiences hinder them.
3. Some people want children, but obstacles in life are stopping or delaying them.
4. Some want to walk freely, but troubled life experiences are preventing them.
5. Many people are navigating challenges beyond their control, while others judge them unfairly.
6. Some individuals walking to their destinations wish they could use a bike or car, but life's challenges have made those desires unreachable.
7. Some homeless people dream of owning a mansion, but their life experiences have made it impossible.
8. Some people yearn for meaningful relationships, but past traumas or trust issues make it difficult for them to form connections.
9. Some individuals aspire to pursue their passions, but financial constraints or societal expectations force them to prioritise stability over their dreams.
10. Some people long for peace and tranquility, but the weight of their responsibilities, anxiety, or mental health struggles makes it hard for them to find calm.
