AV1 – Waves + Plants Pt. 2
[ALT004.2 – Pre-order now]

The last part of the album Waves + Plants is here.
AV1 – the Parisian alliance of Chris Carrier & Le Loup – return to ALT, the sub-label of Cartulis Music, to complete the story they began with Pt.1.

Following its warm reception, this second EP dives even deeper into their sonic world: hypnotic acid lines, raw drum programming, trancey atmospheres, and groove-laden experimentation.

Two pillars of the French underground, one unified sound.
ALT004.2 – the final chapter of Waves + Plants – is now available for pre-order. 🌊🌱

🎧 Cartulis Live Series Podcast 012 - Cabanelas (Live)
Recorded in October 2024 at Phonotheque, Montevideo.

For this new episode of our live podcast series, we present the debut live set by Cabanelas, a sincere and carefully crafted journey through his musical vision, recorded in one of the most emblematic clubs of his hometown.

Ignacio Cabanelas, born in Montevideo in the late ‘80s, began collecting records and producing music before making his DJ debut in 2015 at Phonotheque. That same year, he co-launched the party series No Way Back, a project born from a shared passion for electronic music.

In 2018, he co-founded the label Montevideo Electric Recordings (MER) with Santiago Uribe, Juan Dairecshion, and Soto, with the aim of supporting and releasing music from the region.

This recording captures a special moment, his first ever live set, and offers a glimpse into his evolving sound.

This set is dedicated to Agustín Campolo (RIP), a friend and an inspiration.

INNUENDO LIVE

We’re thrilled to welcome Innuendo for his live debut at Cartulis.
Originally from Switzerland and 1/3 of the collective and label .rec , he represents a new wave of electronic producers with a strong identity, merging the past with the present in a way that feels both fresh and timeless.

His music is deeply inspired by the Frankfurt scene of the 80s and early 90s, a movement that helped shape the foundations of European electronic music, known for its emotional intensity, precision, and futuristic edge. Labels like Abfahrt and artists such as Thorsten Fenslau and Klangwerk laid the groundwork for what would become trance, techno, and more. Innuendo carries that spirit forward with elegance and intent.

There’s also a clear synth-pop and new wave sensibility in his productions, a melodic, emotional layer that adds depth and character to his sound.

We believe Innuendo is one of those rare artists who will give a lot to the future of music, and we’re proud to host his first-ever live performance at Cartulis.

Here are a few clips featuring tracks we’ve been playing and loving, plus a few cheeky previews from his upcoming release on Cartulis,

🎥 1st video — Innuendo – Painful Disguise
🎥 2nd video — Das Firmament – Herrscher Der Zeit
🎥 3rd, 4th & 5th — from his forthcoming release on Cartulis Music
