Superfolk Films is an independent film production company based in London. Directors George Cowie and Tom Huntingford sp

Some stills from our recent architectural film The Tide Line, communicating plans for the redevelopment of the Thames Path at Tower Bridge. With evocative archive photography and video, original animations and artwork from Ludwig Willis Architects, and a diverse cast of characters (including artists who lived on the derelict site in the 70s), it is a rich tapestry of a story to tell on film. A real pleasure to work with everyone involved and a wonderful scheme that as Londoners we really hope goes full steam ahead soon!

Val has had Restless Leg Syndrome since she was a teenager. (Just like her mum who had it her whole life too). She says she is lucky to get 3 hours sleep a night. Because of her condition she suffers the irresistible need to move throughout the night. She goes outside, takes her shoes off and the shock of the cold helps to give her some relief.

We have been on a few night shoots recently to highlight the extent of sleep deprivation that sufferers of Restless Leg Syndrome experience.

Calum, pictured, is the youngest contributor in our awareness-raising film. He is one of those people you could film with all day - a generous-spirited, wise-speaking person with a pet snake and a kitchen full of vinyl.
