Last night, we experienced the City Lights Menu at Cinnamon Kitchen City, and it’s a must-try if you’re looking for something unique and delicious after dark.

The meal kicked off with Chettinad Shrimps, perfectly spiced with cracked pepper and curry leaf, and Papdi Chaat, which had the most amazing balance of tangy chutneys, sweet yogurt, and crunch—total flavour explosions.

The mains were just as incredible. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and absolutely comforting, while the Pointed Cabbage in coconut sauce was a light and fresh surprise. Their House Black Lentils and pilau rice were the perfect additions to round out the meal.

For dessert, the Passion Fruit Brûlée with blueberry compote stole the show for us—so light and refreshing, but if you’re into indulgent treats, the Ginger Toffee Pudding is your go-to.

We paired the meal with a stunning Fabre Montmayou Malbec Reserva 2022, smooth, rich, and the perfect match for the bold flavours of the menu. We finished the night off with some espresso martinis because no evening out feels complete without them.

We tried out .app for the first time to make our booking, and it was fantastic, so quick and easy to secure our table last minute. This menu is all about bold flavours, great vibes, and sharing amazing food with someone special. Highly recommend making this your next late-night dining spot.

Discover the Art of Texture at Silverleaf

the acclaimed East London bar at Pan Pacific London, has unveiled its groundbreaking new menu: “Texture Is Everything.” A celebration of innovation, flavour, and design, this menu redefines the cocktail experience with a focus on the interplay of texture and taste.

The menu itself is a work of art. Presented on embossed, textured paper with abstract watercolour designs by London-based designer Ladina Brunner, it captures the essence of each drink’s sensory journey. Silverleaf’s approach is rooted in naturalism and minimalist elegance, offering a seamless fusion of flavour and creativity.

One standout creation from the “Tannic” section is the Plum Oudh cocktail. Inspired by the woody, dry notes of Jo Malone’s Pomegranate Noir, this reimagined Manhattan features Glenfiddich 15, vermouth, plum, and oudh. Finished with a spritz of edible perfume made in-house, it’s as much a sensory experience as it is a cocktail. The drink’s presentation reflects its inspiration, with tree-bark embossing on the menu mirroring its earthy characteristics.

Silverleaf’s General Manager, Liam Broom, explains, “This menu stays true to our tradition of naturalism while introducing a fresh focus on accessibility and design. It’s about making texture part of the experience, not just the taste.”

Housed within the historic Devonshire House, Silverleaf is more than a cocktail bar—it’s a destination for those seeking bold flavours, innovative techniques, and exceptional craftsmanship. Whether you’re exploring their intimate Alba room or diving into the full menu, Silverleaf promises to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Had the pleasure of dining at UBA, tucked inside the Hart Shoreditch Hotel, and it was an absolute standout. The team went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The food? Incredible. Two dishes stole the show for me. The Yellowtail Kingfish Sashimi, with its smoky cherry wood ponzu, was delicate yet bold, leaving a lasting impression. And the Imperial Miso Black Cod? Buttery, tender, and paired with an unforgettable chilli lime yuzu sauce—it’s a must-try for anyone visiting UBA.
Other highlights included the Rock Shrimp Tempura with a kick of kimchi garlic mayo and the Stuffed Boneless Chicken Wings, which were packed with flavour and fun to eat.
Cocktail lovers, take note. From perfectly balanced Negronis to indulgent Espresso Martinis, every drink was mixed to perfection, impeccable flavours in every sip.
The mix of Pan-Asian flavours, sleek interiors, and a vibrant yet relaxed vibe makes UBA a must-visit for anyone in Shoreditch. Trust me, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

Happy New Year! We’re excited to share our recent experience at L’Atelier Robuchon. This place has definitely earned a spot in our top 10 recommendations for 2024.

The best part: We had an amazing cocktail pairing experience. They served us five courses, each with a perfectly matched cocktail. The combination of flavors was incredible, making each course a unique delight.

What made the night even better was the super-friendly staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, making our dining experience extra special.

Our rating for L’Atelier Robuchon: 9.7/10.0. We left feeling really satisfied, and at £150 per person, we think it’s totally worth it for the great experience.

Exclusive Q&A with Tiago Mira straight up from -

- What's your role and vision for Bacchanalia?

My position is Head of Bars at Bacchanalia, responsible from both Bacchanalia and Apollos club bar operation. Since day one I have had a very strong belief that Bacchanalia is a remarkable venue, that stands out from the rest not just because of its interiors, but also because of the service that we provide. The vision is to keep doing what we do well, provide a great time to our guests, in a fun yet professional environment, where food, drinks and music comes together as one.

- What do you love most about Bacchanalia?

I personally love the dynamic and professional approach that the venue has. We keep striving to prove that speed and consistency can go hand to hand.

Is your place the final stop on London's Finest Bar Crawl?

I think Bacchanalia has one of the finest bars in London. Our cocktail menu was developed to create a memorable experience, no matter the time of the day.

- What's your favourite international bar and restaurant?

One of my favourite international bars is The Clumsies in Athens and my favourite restaurant is Peskesi in Crete.

- Are you working on or developing any exciting projects currently?

My all-time project was, and is, my team, developing a consistent and reliable team that works well together and understands not just the business but each other. In terms of bar projects, we are working on many exciting new offerings, that will be revealed when time shows opportune.

- Got a fun fact about your venue?

The fact that we hired a grape feeder when we opened is a fun fact, it was a big talking point!

What's your favourite item on the menu?

I have a few that I’m particularly attached too, such as, The Lakes Whiskeys, which I’m very proud to say that we have one of the biggest selections in UK (and it is still growing). We also have items such as Samaroli Whisky and a serious, yet fun selection of Tequila.

The 1 Michelin Star, Marcus Restaurant at The Berkeley, Head Chef Interview with Craig Johnston

What Craig & his team are achieving is nothing less than exceptional, under the watchful eye of our industry legend Marcus Wareing.

What is your Role & Vision?
I'm Head Chef at Marcus Belgravia, managing a team of 19 and overseeing the entire food operation. My vision to cook food that makes people smile, using the very best produce we can find in the UK

Favourite Dish on the menu?
It changes every day, but at the moment, it's probably the Galloway beef with cauliflower, lovage and Australian truffle.

What do you love most about your venue?
It's the perfect balance of modern and classic. We've been in this space for 15 years or so, and have worked really hard to create a memorable experience that guests love.

The Connaught to start for a martini and a pub close to home to finish with a beer.

Favourite local gem restaurant?
I don't live nearby anymore but Abu Zaad in Shepherd's Bush was always a go-to for great platters of Middle Eastern food

Favourite International Restaurant?
Saint Peter, Sydney.

Working on or developing anything interesting at the moment?
Always! We've just launched our summer menu, but soon we'll be looking to Autumn and the produce that becomes available in September. There's always Christmas as well...this one feels like it's going to be our busiest yet.

Hospitality Personality Q&A with Marcello Cauda of The Berkeley Hotel, Blue Bar - Knightsbridge

- Favourite feature on the menu? – Mirror martini: a great collaboration with two brands, Caprelous for eau de vie and John Jenkin for the bespoke mirror martini glass. It's a take on a gin & it/martinez based on Bombay premier cru, blue orchard eau de vie, white port, Cocchi Rosato, peach bitter, garnished with cherry caviar.

- What do you love most about your venue? – I love the vibe in the room once the Vinyl set starts. The colors are vibrant and different from any other bars in London. With a nice drink and some snacks, you're guaranteed to have a great evening!

- London Bar & Restaurant Crawl First & Final Destination? – Start with a nice aperitivo at and end up at for a delicious cocktail and snacks (I love eating in bars).

- Favourite International Bar and Restaurant? – I love . Amazing service and the drinks are always on point. They always make you feel special. As for restaurants, I love any classic Italian authentic food.

- Working on or developing anything interesting at the moment? – We launched the new menu this week and we're trying to share it around the globe in the best way possible.

- Your Vision? – I like to work in a great environment where teamwork is essential in everything we do!
Fun Fact about your venue? – We have a lovely machine where we can personalise any drinks with your name or face if you want. It's a small little touch that adds a special touch to your experience.
