Во время моего последнего посещения Узбекистана для участия в Ташкентском международном инвестиционном форуме, мне выпала честь выступить перед студентами факультета журналистики Узбекского государственного университета мировых языков. Это стало возможным благодаря приглашению от моего дорогого друга, Беруния Алимова. Моя речь перед будущими журналистами сопровождалась углубленными дискуссиями о текущих проблемах и будущем журналистики, что оказалось невероятно ценным опытом.

Задаваемые студентами проникновенные вопросы и их размышления свидетельствовали о высоком качестве образования, которое предоставляет Узбекский государственный университет мировых языков, сравнимом с лучшими мировыми учебными заведениями. Этот успех отражает преданность и стратегическое видение декана факультета журналистики, доктора Амрулло Каримова.

Я искренне благодарен декану, доктору Амрулло Каримову, доктору Берунию Алимову и всему преподавательскому составу за предоставленную мне возможность поделиться знаниями в области журналистики. Предложение Департамента журналистики о сотрудничестве с London Post и подписании меморандума о взаимопонимании является достойным внимания шагом. Я чувствую гордость и радость от перспективы работы с такими опытными и квалифицированными специалистами, что обещает не только обогащение знаний, но и открытие новых горизонтов для студентов.

An Honor in Uzbekistan: Addressing Future Journalists at Tashkent's Premier University "Uzbekistan State World Language University"

During my recent visit to Uzbekistan for the Tashkent International Invest Forum, I was honored to receive an invitation from my respected friend, Beruniy Alimov, to speak at the Department of Journalism at the Uzbekistan State World Language University. This opportunity allowed me not only to address the budding journalists but also to engage in meaningful discussions about the challenges and perspectives within journalism. Sharing my experiences with the students was a rewarding experience.

The insightful questions and reflections from the students were a clear indication of the high standard of education at the Uzbekistan State World Language University, comparable to any top international institution. This is a testament to the dedication and vision of the Dean of Journalism.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Respected Amrullo Karimov , the Dean of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University , Dr. Beruniy Alimov, and the rest of the faculty for inviting me to share my insights on journalism. The Department of Journalism’s initiative to explore a collaboration with the London Post through a memorandum of understanding is indeed commendable. I am proud and excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the experienced and highly qualified faculty of the Department of Journalism. This collaboration promises not only valuable insights but also immense learning opportunities.

Yesterday, at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, I had the pleasure of meeting Ali Sher Shaykhov, the former Ambassador of Uzbekistan to London. He recognized me and warmly greeted me with a hug. We decided to have dinner together, during which we engaged in conversation about London.
