Exciting!!!
We’re incredibly excited to share that the first episode of the Great Taste Podcast 'Great Taste Podcast – Episode 1: It’s Written in the Stars’ has been shortlisted for Guild of Food Writers Food Podcast or Broadcast Award 2025!
A joint venture from Guild of Fine Food and Ratchet, the credit for the quality of the end of result goes to the fantastic production team for their skills in taking listeners behind the scenes of Great Taste and beyond, to meet the amazing food and drink producers and retailers that make up our independent food ecosystem. Given free editorial reign over our process, they not only captured the heart of Great Taste, but also encouraged us all to think about where our food and drink comes from, who makes it and why well-produced food and drink is so important for us all.
Hosted and produced by Katherine Nathan, produced by Nick Usher and Mary Gregory, in collaboration with Christabel Cairns and Jenna Morice.
We're nominated alongside two episodes from BBC Food Programme, which is an honour in itself.
