Teaming up again with , this time bringing the choir in their new Sky TV ad to life.

We arranged and recorded a live 8 person choir here at our studio with the help of the very talented

Our piano is a 1970's Yamaha X, a hidden gem of the acoustic world. Unlike standard uprights, it has a distinctive X-shaped back brace, giving it extra strength and a tone that’s rich, resonant, and surprisingly close to a grand piano. We aquired it in 2024 and has been used on all of our piano recordings ever since.

Our studio’s guitar collection covers everything from vintage Rickenbackers and Gretsches to modern Gibsons, Fenders, and a handful of rare one-offs we’ve picked up along the way. Because we work across so many styles, it’s vital to have a range of classic designs and tones on hand - so whatever the track calls for, we can lock in that sound.

How do you soundtrack a sky full of falling kibble?

Here’s how we built the world of sound for Harringtons Pet Food.

We kicked things off with drums, percussion and bass for bounce, then layered in piano, synths, brass and strings to bring the charm. Risers and SFX gave it lift, while vocals brought the energy home.

This one was all about making tails wag.

Here's how we created the sound for the English National Opera.

We began with the applause, stomps and wooshes to capture the energy of the stage, then brought in the crowd and layers of metal for drama and impact.

Next came the voiceover, recorded in house with Nick Grimshaw, followed by the music, and finally the sound design to tie it all together.

This is what it sounded like when it all came together.
