We have some news. Archetype now has new owners in James Powell and Chris Humphrey. It is not quite the end of an era as founder and previous owner James Black remains associated in a commissioning capacity.
He says: "I am delighted to have sold to James and Chris. Their vision of a long and sustainable future for the company is a great reassurance that there is still a good home for the books, the contributors and the relationships that I have nurtured. I am pleased to have been asked to remain involved with the commissioning of new titles and look forward to keeping in touch with present and future Archetype authors".
As new owners we are excited for Archetype. We are already implementing plans to make the books more widely available across formats and countries. The core of our publishing will not change but if you have ideas for partnerships or projects that build on what we have, now is the time to get in touch.
