Luke is a freelance Steadicam Operator who works in Feature Film, TV Drama, Music Promos, and Commer

Luke studied TV Production at Bournemouth University, specialising in Camera and Lighting, and graduated with a 1st Class (Hons) Degree. Luke's final year project was a visual journey through Aldwych, a disused station on a now defunct branch of the Piccadilly Line. 'Secret Station' has now had over a million hits on YouTube. After graduating Luke worked at an equipment hire company, gaining exper

ience in the industry for several years. He then decided to invest in his own Steadicam equipment, and made the move into the freelance world. Luke now has professional Steadicam experience in shorts, feature films, music promos, corporates, and online commercials. Today's partial , as seen through my

Note how the moon's limb looks bumpy (from the craters and mountains), but the sun's limb is perfectly smooth!

Very pleased with this considering it was quite hazy for most of the eclipse.

This close-up was originally a black and white shot that I've applied a colour match to from a wider shot which I took with the DSLR...
