Thank you to all of this year’s eOne seasonal volunteers. This year we had over 50 eOner’s volunteer their time at one of four local charities.

The activities and charities included; decorating the adult learning classrooms at the Cardinal Hume Centre, making Christmas cards and accompanying some older neighbours from North London Cares on a trip to a local school, getting down and dirty at the Kentish Town City Farm and assisting Fitzrovia Youth in Action in throwing a Christmas lunch for up to 200 local residents.

We’re very excited to present the highly anticipated first look at Steven Spielberg’s reimagining of Roald Dahl’s classic THE BFG with the release of the teaser trailer and the first still from the film!

The BFG will be released in the UK on July 22nd 2016.

Last week, over 600 guests attended Entertainment One’s slate presentation to see exclusive footage from our 2016 film line-up.

The doors of the Picturehouse Central were opened wide to welcome a broad range of partners from across the business including exhibitors, press, media owners, brands, retailers, broadcasters alongside a variety of agencies.
We showcased 25 films and over an hour of never-before-seen footage with special guest Daniel Radcliffe attending to present the new trailer for the upcoming release of NOW YOU SEE ME 2.

Highlights of eOne’s 2016 stellar film lineup presented included Steven Spielberg’s BIG screen adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The BFG, Ricky Gervais’ David Brent: Life on the Road, Dreamworks’ adaptation of runaway bestseller The Girl on the Train, as well as new films from J A Bayona, Denis Villeneuve, John Hillcoat, Richard Linklater, Jeff Nichols, Ken Loach and Mike Mills

Titles from the production division Entertainment One Features were showcased, including: Tom McCarthy’s critically-acclaimed Spotlight, action-thriller MESSAGE FROM THE KING starring Chadwick Boseman; Gavin Hood’s EYE IN THE SKY, starring Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul and Barkhad Abdi, CAPTAIN FANTASTIC, starring Viggo Mortensen, and Bryan Cranston-starrer TRUMBO, based on the astounding true story of one of Hollywood’s greatest screenwriters.

Entertainment One employees helped support the Syrian refugee crisis by contributing a box of essential food items including; rice, tinned fruit and cereal bars.

The Company supported this by donating an additional 25 boxes and overall 80 boxes of essential items were sent over to campaign headquarters. Thank you everyone for you generous contribution to a worthwhile cause.
