🚨 A SERIOUS WARNING — TIME IS RUNNING OUT
If immediate and serious action is not taken today regarding the group led by Ahmed Wali Aw Hassan and the plans reportedly connected to the situation in Biyada and its surrounding areas, the situation could deteriorate further tomorrow, making it much more difficult to prevent escalation.
We strongly call on the Ethiopian security authorities and relevant government officials to intervene without delay, conduct a serious and impartial investigation into these developments, and take appropriate legal action if any plans that threaten peace and the safety of civilians are confirmed.
