Elska Magazine Elska is a bi-monthly male photography and culture bookazine. Each issue is made in a different city and features local boys and local stories.

Each issue is shot in a different city with local boys and local stories. Available in a classic printed version or a downloadable tablet/iPad version. The concept really is simple. Every two months we go to a different city, meet loads of local guys and ask if they'd like to be photographed and write a story for us. We don't hire professional models and there is no age, size, style or race criter

ia - everyone is welcome. We then shoot the guys in the city and in their homes, in their own clothes or sometimes in no clothes at all. A tale of Elska Akureyri through food:

1) Coffee and apple cake at Bláa Kannan, where I first turned on Grindr in Akureyri and quickly met the first elskan, Kristján S
2) The first stop after shooting Kristján, to get coffee, milk and a big multipack of Appelsín án sykurs to keep me going for the week
3) Coffee while I wait for Snævar to start our shoot, and the copy of Elska Almaty that would be my gift to him
4) Wanting a hot dog reaaaalllll bad
5) Beers with Lúkas two nights after our shoot
6) Kristjánsbakarí, where I pondered leaving or staying in Akureyri when a winter storm made driving dangerous. I decided to go, and it nearly killed me

Perhaps the most noticeable difference between the original Elska Los Angeles series and the second edition, which came out in October, is the addition of this guy. Due to a sort of over-heated disagreement, his chapter was deleted from the first edition at the last minute. With the calming powers of time, he's not back and finally ready to meet our readers...
