If you have a 5 year success plan to be successful within the next 5 year then you can skip this blog post today. However, if you do not have a 5 year success plan then please do read on in 2023.
I am going to be very frank here, and I will explain in detail why I am committed to telling you! the reader of my business blog post, why you need a 5 year plan for success in 2023!
The main reason for any 5 year plan is to map out your life course and what you want to achieve within 5 year which is a short 60 months period starting today.
I started my course of business action for my 5 year plan way back in 2015 and today, i am successful for both my businesses in the field of electronics and self publishing. However, it was not always like this and without my 5 year success plan I would not have made it this far in 2023!
Let me explain in more detail what i mean when you must have a 5 year success plan in order to ensure you can be successful for you, your business and your family in 2023.
It is very important you have what i call a “LIFE MANUAL” and without this manual for life you will in the end go around in circle and end up failing in life as you don’t have a manual or plan how to achieve your life goals. The most important part of taking any course of action is the doing part.
Actually planning your life goals are not the hardest part involved in your 5 year success plan however the starting or the doing part can be. Most people fear failure and Yes it is hard to fail however you must not be scared to start because you fear failure.
I have started many courses of action both business, personal and educational and all have had some minor or small set backs along the way however, I never gave up!
I can tell you right now in 2023, it harder to be successful than compared to 5 years ago in 2017 and the reasons for this is a lot of people are time poor. People are so busy with their social media accounts or watching videos of cats dancing to a song or people playing pranks on other people to even break free of the 9-5 rat race.
Let me tell you something if you have nothing in this life then you have nothing to loose and no excuse to not start to take action by starting your 5 year success plan today!
If you young in your 20s or 30s or even 40s and you have nothing to loose lets say your single, you have no mortgage or you have no job. My friend you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. However if you are in your 20s, 30s and even 40s you have a dream to be successful then as long as your willing to make the steps and take time on your 5 year success plan then you too can be successful.
Now, what it takes is time, dedication and determination plus stamina and you can muster it all into one big ball of energy which can allow you to achieve your life goals all within 5 years time starting today!
Since 2015, I had many, many set back and not once did I allow my personal situation or even being, homeless, jobless or having my friends or family slam their doors on my face stop me from achieving my life goals in life.
I had business men turn up at my door to buy me out which at the time was tempting but I refused, I had been in toxic relationships which I left and I had people smear my name in private and public, yet I never stopped to think for one second I could not be successful.
You must be strong and I mean very strong you will face many objections, ridicule and even people slamming their doors in your face when to come to ask for some help along the way.
One rule I live by is you only know your true friends when in your time of need they open their doors to you and the fake friend as I like to call them slam their doors in your face.
Now, What is the 5 year success plan I hear you say, well, it very simple, and it is this, you make connections with the right people in the field you chose to be successful in. Now this could be education, work or business it doesn’t matter which field as longs as you connect with a mentor along the way who has been there and done it and speaks from experience.
Once you have made the connection which should be easy in 2023 due to google and social media most people’s contact details are online. You ask you mentor to help you and you take all the best advice they can give you either free or paid for.
Then you use the advice and set out on your own in either the world of business, education or personal development.
Your mentor should point out all the pit falls and bumps in the road so you don’t have to make the same mistake like they did while they were setting out many years ago before you.
Yes most of the mentors would have learnt their trade the hard way and they would know what are the industry pit falls if any in 2023.
For example, I am currently studying an Masters in Business alongside running my two online businesses. However, I could not find a university to accept me in 2021 until I spoke with a close friend who told me to keep apply9ing to different Universities and in the end one accepted.
I paid the fee over a 12 months period and now I am in my final year for my Master degree in business in the U.K. Now, apply this to business when I was starting out in self publishing I did not have a clue what I wanted to do. I received a VIP invite to a seminar in London on the 16th April, 2016.
This opened the door to me having my own product which I could sell, however I had no website, no designs and no sale letters. I learnt to create my own design, sale copy and websites over time by retraining myself. In time I wrote my own publishing products, created their cover designs and also posted them on my own fully function online ecommerce store all by myself.
None of this could have been achieved if I did not have a 5 year success plan and none could have been achieved if I did not believe in myself or in my ability to be successful in the future at some point in time.
Remember, this key point, your time to be successful will be different to someone else and the factors that determine this are different for different people.
But,
Once factor remains the same and that is your determination, stamina and the doing part which is to start the project in the first place.
You could have the world’s best idea for business however if you don’t start then no one will know what your selling and therefore no one will buy from you, its that simple!
