BREAKING: Limpopo Boy’s management issues statement after private video leak involving alleged married woman

South African dancer and performer Limpopo Boy (real name Robert Matome Thoka / Matome Thoka Robert) is at the centre of a fast-spreading social media storm after a private intimate video involving him and a woman was leaked and circulated online without consent.
His management, Limpopo Boy Crew Management, released a public statement dated 9 August addressing the matter. The statement describes the content as “stolen without consent and shared entirely without authorization,” calling it “a severe violation of privacy and a criminal matter.”
Management said it is engaging cybersecurity experts to investigate the source of the breach and is working with legal teams and hosting platforms for the immediate removal of the links and files. It urged the public to refrain from sharing, downloading, or interacting with the material, noting that distributing it is unlawful and causes further harm.
Reports and social media posts identify the woman in the footage as Matshidiso Matilda, who is described online as married to Kevin Shai. Screenshots and claims circulating suggest she is a recently married dancer/influencer.
Matshidiso Matilda had previously made her husband apologise publicly after dreaming that he was cheating on her, only for her to later be linked to Limpopo Boy in the leaked video.
The leak has triggered intense online discussion, with many users criticising the sharing of non-consensual private content while others focus on the alleged marital status of the woman involved. Limpopo Boy’s team has emphasised that the distribution is malicious and unlawful, and they are pursuing takedowns.
No further official comment has been issued beyond the management statement. Authorities have not publicly confirmed any investigation at the time of reporting.
