A love letter to ❤️

Established in 2012, this little slice of heaven in Penge brings independent producers and suppliers together to create one of the best independent grocery stores in London. There, we said it 👏

Plus, they've got banging coffee to boot ☕️

We love this spot, so if you've had a stroll around Crystal Palace Park, maybe seen a dinosaur or two and want really great coffee, a 2 minute walk will land you here. It's the very best coffee south of the park. If this is already a firm favourite of yours, let us know!

When you get to spend an afternoon drinking coffee cocktails and recording a podcast, you know that life is pretty awesome 😎

For our final episode of season 4 of Adventures In Coffee we reached out to two coffee cocktail mixologists:

Dave Jameson, 2-time UK Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, a Q-Arabica grader and coach of the 2017 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion ,
and Alexandra Hager Beverage R&D Specialist for US locations of the Korean Bakery Franchise Tous Les Jours and 2022 US Coffee in Good Spirits Champion and the first US competitor at the World Championships.

On this episode, we pick their brains to learn about why they love coffee cocktails, how they create a balanced coffee cocktail, and how they create the perfect coffee cocktail based on a person’s particular tastes.

New Year, same goal; to bring you some of our favourite independent coffee shops across the country and even across the globe 🌏

And our first pick of 2023 is the fantastic with their Mayfair location. This is the newest addition to the District family and offers up a super intimate on those lovely little mews streets of the West End.

Of their ethos; Chelsea and her team write “We care about our communities and prioritise local suppliers, who use select ingredients and work consciously for our environment, and we have a monthly rotation of guest roasters to keep our offering ever-changing.”

This Antipodean gem is definitely one to add to your must-visit list, we'll certainly be back to enjoy a great coffee and some insanely yummy food, swipe for evidence 🤤

🎵 “On the third day of Christmas our wonderful roasters gave to me…” 🎶

The Noelcore Espresso ☕️

Noelcore Espresso is their fun Christmas edition espresso that they offer for a limited time only. This years’ result is a slightly boozy, jammy and fruit peel flavoured blend that reminds us of Christmas time.

We recommend enjoying it black for notes of redcurrant jelly or with milk for the boozy and creamy spiced notes.

Even though it's a blend and as the name suggests, we recommend Noelcore brewed as espresso. Nevertheless all three components are medium to light roast therefore you can enjoy the coffee as filter too.

Enjoy our Christmas duo (Noelcore espresso and Luis Hernandaz, Christmas single origin) together, alternatively it will make a great Christmas present!

This is a wonderful, sticky toffee, sweet coffee, with notes of milk chocolate and a rounded plum finish. This coffee tastes like Christmas in a cup ✨ Perfect for all brewing methods and a total treat for the festive season.

This very fine coffee is lovingly grown on the Bella Vista Farm, Belen de Umbria, in the region of Risaralda. Known as the "noble and coffee city". Nestled between mountains along the western mountain range, which benefits from a range of temperatures that make it an ideal place for cultivation of coffee.
