A fresh 2-part Peppa story starring Granny Sheep and her new Art Van is now streaming on Channel 5 in the UK! Granny Sheep was the first new family member we were able to create for the show, forming the series’ first intergenerational household around Suzy’s family. We wanted to make her an ambassador for art so there was a positive creative influence to inspire the kids in the show and the audience at home. so we’re very proud of her, and adore Sandra Dickinson’s beautifully quirky vocal performance. This pair of episodes also celebrate the fabulous supporting cast of Sarah Ann Kennedy, David Rintoul, Brian Blessed and Debbie Macdonald. (Series 9, Episodes 8 & 9) The baby story arc continues tomorrow at 7:35am before the epic conclusion in a 3 part special on Saturday!

In a new episode, Peppa makes a ‘Patchwork Quilt’, ready for the arrival of Baby Evie, in one of the sweetest stories we created for the show. This episode was actually already in the works as a multi-generation Granny/Mummy/Peppa story before it was decided a new baby was on the way, and that development made this narrative even stronger since it became a perfect anticipatory episode, with Peppa now extra excited about making something for her new sibling. Stream it now on Channel 5 in the UK (Season 9, Episode 7).

What have you been up to this weekend? Peppa’s been to a ‘Jigsaw Festival’! This idea was based on a real-life weekend experience that co-writer Jen Upton brought into the writer’s room that she and Phil Hall worked up into a perfect slice of classic Peppa comedy! It features a beautiful posthumous performance from David Graham as Grandpa Pig at the centre of the story, recorded from his front room, and you can stream it now on Channel 5 - Series 9 Episode 5

We had a brilliant time celebrating the completion of Karrot’s 104 episodes of Peppa Pig recently at the College Garden, Westminster Abbey! Thank you to absolutely everyone that made it possible to tell such a beautiful collection of stories… To have the chance to nurture and expand Peppa’s universe, then welcome Baby Evie to the family during the run was the biggest honour for us all! USA audiences get to see Evie’s arrival on Nickelodeon this week, and Milkshake viewers in the UK don’t have to wait long either… stay tuned to your TVs to catch heaps more of the episodes that the Karrot crew have so lovingly made for Hasbro and ABD!
