Did you know you can take a card game and turn it into a classroom writing superpower?

The Storytellers Card Game is designed to be played like “Cards Against Humanity” (kid-friendly, of course). But this week, I decided to use it in a whole new way.

Our class book was Meerkat Mail, and we were writing about the desert. Instead of sticking with simple words, my 6-year-olds pulled cards like “barren” and “famished” and suddenly, their writing transformed. They didn’t just describe the desert, they brought it to life!

✨ One game, endless teaching possibilities. Storytellers isn’t just fun, it’s an amazing resource for vocab and creative writing.
