Ambient has launched its new Dreamie Sleep Assistant on Kickstarter, offering a fresh take on sleep tracking. It uses a microphone and environmental sensors to monitor sound, light, temperature and humidity, helping you understand how your surroundings affect your rest.

It's currently available on Kickstarter from $269 (around £220) and shipping is expected to take place next month.

"It's no secret that smart glasses are seen as the next frontier for the technology industry. A wide array of major brands are currently plowing vast sums of money into the category, with many touting it as the next evolution of the smartphone as the daily device for most people.

That includes Apple, with the brand reportedly shifting internal resources away from the Apple Vision Pro projects it has had in the works to focus on smart glasses. Other products – like the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses – have already established a significant footing in the arena.

Still, Apple is not one to just follow the zeitgeist. Instead, a new report suggests the Californian brand could be looking far beyond the current features offered by competitors, with a view to make things more appealing to users."

Apple's Vision Pro was revealed over two years ago now. We know, it doesn't really feel like it, but that's probably because the headset only went on sale in the UK a little over a year ago.

However, as the Vision Pro was technically first announced back in June 2023, it probably comes as no surprise that rumours are starting to swirl about its successor.

"I've been waiting a long time for this – since well before its tremendously impressive and successful open beta, Battlefield 6 has been a light at the end of the multiplayer tunnel for me. After a good half-decade of consistent fun, my group of friends and I have grown tired of COD: Warzone, which is in as stale a place as it's ever been, and the great hope that BF6 brought with it is hard to sum up.

Now, though, after months of waiting, it's finally here, and I played a whole heap of the game over the weekend, to see if it could live up to expectations. I'm extremely pleased to report, like many others, that this is one of the best mainstream multiplayer shooters to be released in ages, and that's down in no small part to some fairly stunning visuals and audio."

"I possess both the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold and the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold, so I've been able to position them side-by-side for a proper comparison about what's new.

The simple answer is 'not a lot'. Google has made some nips and tucks here and there, changing the footprint by such a tiny amount that I literally can't tell.

The key changes, subtle as they are, are the reduction in front bezel, increase in battery capacity and screen brightness, addition of Qi2 wireless compatibility, and two new colours (there's no 'classic' black or white finish this time)."

Don't worry, you're not going mad -- GameSnacks has gone missing from Android Auto for some drivers.

It's unclear whether removal of the app is deliberate, or if it's only part of the beta.
