What. A. Ride. 🇬🇧🚴‍♂️🇫🇷

Yesterday at 3pm, over 200 riders completed 500km over four brutal days - from Greenwich to the Eiffel Tower, and MCH London was right in the thick of it. 💪

An incredible crew took on torrential rain, relentless headwinds, and the kind of conditions that will go down in folklore! Thursday and Saturday’s downpours were biblical. 🌧️⚡️

But nothing beats that feeling of rolling into Paris together, Eiffel Tower in view, legs and lungs burning but hearts bursting, especially knowing that collectively we helped raise an astonishing £400,026 for Cure Leukaemia ❤️

We truly couldn’t have done it without the emotional and physical support of our teammates and clients - CWA Finance and The Sporting Club. True support buddies in every sense of the word. 🙌

🚴‍♂️ Day 3!

Over halfway and we’ve officially broken the back of the ride (and maybe our legs too). 💥

An absolutely gruelling day yesterday on the road, but spirits are high and the weather finally played ball. 🌤️

Huge credit to the phenomenal team at Cure Leukaemia and especially the Ride Captains who’ve kept us moving, motivated and mostly in one piece. 🙌

There’ve been highs, lows, and everything in between, but we dug deep with the team CWA Finance and The Sporting Club

Onwards to Paris - legs are a bit empty, but hearts are full!

🚴‍♂️ From London to Paris… for a cause that matters.

This morning, MCH London’s very own Mark Howarth set off from Greenwich, cycling all the way to Paris in support of Cure Leukaemia.

72km down, just 45km to go until Folkestone! 💪

Mark is one of 200 incredible riders taking part in this huge challenge, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A special shoutout to our client Bruno Welch of CWA Finance, riding alongside Mark - a powerful symbol of what happens when agency and client come together for the greater good.

As part of our ongoing Charity of the Year efforts, MCH Founder Mark is taking on a big challenge this week - cycling 500km from London to Paris to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.

Every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a form of blood cancer.

The funds Mark raises will help support specialist research nurses at 15 centres across the UK, connecting patients with life-saving clinical trials.

Making an Impact with MCH London!

Every month, MCH London backs two climate projects that make real environmental changes..

The projects we're helping this month:

- Avoiding methane emissions from landfill in Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Protection of the Matavén forest in eastern Colombia

We have now funded the planting of 234 trees to help recreate important habitats and have ensured that we have avoided 15.97 tCO₂e in carbon pollution through measurable (and highly audited) offsetting.

Together, in partnership with Ecologi, all of team MCH are actively pursuing a more sustainable world as a carbon positive workforce.

We firmly believe that with the right attitude, more can happen!

The joys of flexible working at MCH London!

One of the great perks of working flexibly in a hybrid company? It has to be more time for the things that make our work day as enjoyable as possible.

This morning, one of our team members got to enjoy a little extra ‘headspace’ with a home gym session and, as is the norm most mornings, Buster the Cocker Spaniel made the perfect workout buddy! 🐶💪

Flexibility isn’t just about where we work; it’s about finding balance. More time for fitness, healthy habits, pets and personal time means we’re happier and more focused when we need to get down to business.

What do you do if you’re a hybrid firm, have team members all over the show and they can’t always get to London?

We hugely encourage a multi-cultural working environment where we see, on a daily basis, that creativity can thrive - so getting out to the places where the team members’ live ensures that they’re set up for success.

It’s been a great couple of days seeing one of MCH’s star performers on her home turf in Aarhus - Denmark’s second largest city and a former EU City of Culture, no less!

Emilie has totally killed it since day one, taken on more and more responsibility completely in her stride.

It’s been a pleasure to spend time reflecting on that and to roadmap her future whilst being in this great little city.

Mark C Howarth, our founder, recently had the privilege of delivering a talk on brand value to a group of students from the University of Iowa.

Here are some key insights he shared during the session:

➡️ Brand Value: Brand value goes beyond financial metrics. It includes perception, reputation, and the emotional connection that consumers have with a brand. This broadens the scope of measuring brand success beyond traditional methods, like the Royalty Relief Method (RRM).

➡️ Marketing's Role: Marketing is a driving force in shaping brand value. By effectively communicating a brand’s unique value proposition and fostering strong customer relationships, marketers can enhance brand perception and influence its overall value—especially in awareness campaigns.

➡️ Authenticity: Today's consumers are drawn to brands that are genuine and transparent. Marketing strategies should focus on telling an authentic brand story and delivering on those values responsibly.

➡️ Consistency: A consistent brand message across all channels helps solidify brand value and improves customer willingness to pay, especially for premium brands.

➡️ Customer Experience: Exceptional customer experiences are crucial for building loyalty and turning customers into brand advocates. We also discussed the importance of Net Promoter Score (NPS) as a valuable tool in gathering consumer feedback.

We're proud of our ongoing partnership with the CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange, an organisation that plays a leading role in promoting international education and we have had the pleasure of working with some exceptional interns through this collaboration, including our own Account Manager, Emilie Tornøe.
