ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨🔥 To close out the year with focus and real momentum, ‘The Craft’ is hosting a special improvisation workshop led by (Dreaming Whilst Black, The Kitchen).

This final session of the year is built for actors who want to strengthen their instincts, sharpen their technique and step into January with confidence.

Improvisation is one of the most valuable skills an actor can develop. In this workshop, we’ll dig into practical exercises that help you make bold choices, stay present and deliver truthful performances under pressure.

This practical and supportive session will include:

🎭 Improvisation Mastery:

• Emotional Agility – Learn to move through emotions truthfully and in the moment.

• Character Creation on the Spot – Build believable characters quickly using objectives and clear choices.

• Listening + Reacting – Strengthen your ability to stay present, respond instinctively and let the scene unfold naturally.

🧭 Planning for 2026 – Demmy will share how he prepares for the year ahead, offering practical steps to help you build consistency, improve your craft and set yourself up for a strong start in January.

🎤 Q&A Session – Ask questions and gain insight into how improvisation supports auditions, self-tapes and on-set work.

10 years of Your Cinema:

I come from a music background so when I started Your Cinema I really didn’t know about the industry (or many people in it) and to be fair it wasn’t even the focus.

The focus was showing OUR stories on the screen, I just knew that people NEED to see our stories, like why aren’t we seeing them?!

Film London dropped us some funding (big ups EVERYTIME) and we did our first set of screenings with as the host. Bro thank you for seeing the vision and coming onboard 👍🏾

Over time I realised we actually need content in between screenings and there were so many people smashing it in roles on Casualty, Holby City, Hollyoaks etc. so I thought we NEED to interview them 🙏🏾

These ideas step by step have morphed Your Cinema into a content platform, an events space, a production company and MOST importantly a space where we’re seen authentically 🙏🏾💥❤️

We’ve only begun to scratch the surface but I’m TRULY grateful for everyone who’s ever blessed us with their time, attention, views, ticket sales and encouragement, it means a lot.

These past ten years has felt like four and as we prepare for on Saturday, I just wanted to take some time out to say thank you to everyone who’s supported.

December we celebrate! 🥳 🍾
