Baku day trip I highly recommend 👇🏻

Places to visit:
• Candy Cane Mountains
• Qechresh Forest (Quba)
• Shahdag Mountain Resort (Alpine Coaster/Ski ropeway)

I booked my day trip from Baku City Tours and I really had a very comfortable experience!
They had a small group size, provided hotel pickup & drop-off and the mini van was very comfortable + the professional English-speaking tour guide Elcan Bəkirov🇦🇿 made the trip even more memorable as he explained all the facts & historical significance of places.

I highly recommend ⭐️

the Candy Cane Mountains in Azerbaijan are located in the Khizi region, along the route between Baku and the mountain village of Altiaghaj.

Their unusual red, pink, orange and white patterns are natural. Groundwater has altered the oxidation of iron compounds in the rocks, creating these striking colours over geological time.

And look closely while walking here 👀 You may even find Cretaceous-period fossils, including belemnites, ancient squid-like marine creatures! 🦑

Nature has been creating content here for millions of years. 😂🇦🇿

On Day 2 of my Azerbaijan trip, I left Baku behind and went exploring some of the most fascinating places around the city. 🇦🇿✨

From the ancient rock carvings of Gobustan and the surreal Mud Volcanoes to the eternal flames of Yanardag and the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple, this was a full day of discovering a very different side of Azerbaijan.
