Happening Tonight at Art Retro Fortnight – art’otel Hoxton

Red Gallery founder Ernesto Leal returns with a brand new video work and live panel talk, diving deep into the archives of East End Promise and the iconic era that made East London a global creative force.

Back in 2010, Red Gallery took over a 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Hoxton, turning it into a radical cultural hub — a “legal squat” where bold ideas and underground energy collided. One of its most unforgettable moments? East End Promise: A Story of Cultural Migrants 1988–2000 — a landmark show that documented the faces, sounds, and movements that reshaped Shoreditch.

Don’t miss this one-night revival.
Red Gallery catalogues will be available to buy — your chance to own a piece of this rich history.

Join us tonight. Relive the energy. Reconnect with the scene. Celebrate the legacy. Open for All!

Framed by the connectivity of club culture and its values that transcend borders, ‘SubBerlin, The Story Of Tresor’ will be screening @ 4pm at the Farsight Collective, WC2H 8DJ.
