The Fintech Times

The Fintech Times What if we could also change the way print media works? Around 75 - 80% of print media is PR. How about you just come straight to us? Our print. Tech. Finance. AI.

Established in 2016, The Fintech Times is a multimedia news outlet centered around our print newspaper (the FIRST and ONLY Fintech newspaper) chronicling the latest developments in cutting-edge financial technologies. A large number of companies pay a small number of PR agencies to be featured in a very small number of print media outlets. The laws of supply and demand make it a poor value proposi

tion for everyone except the PR agency. We create content with you, designed to work in print. Your creative content, be it interviews, opinion pieces, reviews, thought leadership pieces, adverts, features, notices, these are assets. And they can also be used for all your digital media. And for our digital media too. By cutting out the PR middlemen you have certainty of publication, certainty of positioning, and a disruptive print media company specialising in fintech and thinking strategy on your behalf. Fintechtimes.london content incorporates many different topics. We have sections in the paper. Future. People. Interviews. Coverstory. Recruitment. Global. We collaborate with industry leaders and hold monthly networking events. Helping tech startups get the business and financial support from the source of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Got any ideas you would like the world to know about? Would you like to be featured on the fintechtimes.london? Have your startup profiled in our center fold? GET IN TOUCH TODAY!

Chatbots that never scale. Credit engines stuck in testing. Fraud tools that look good in a demo but don’t survive integration. Banks have plenty of AI experiments: far fewer success stories.

The Fintech Times caught up with Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance, at Huawei Connect 2025 in Shanghai to learn more about FinAgent Booster (FAB), a framework that packages years of engineering work with banks into reusable workflows, connectors and micro-component plug-ins.

“We process close to 150 billion transactions annually. Every single one of those transactions goes through our AI risk program,” explains Muhammad Nana, highlighting Mastercard’s long-standing investment in artificial intelligence to ensure security and trust across its network.

Rinat Ablet adds, “There is a huge role for AI to come in and optimize areas like fraud, AML, and even customer support… you can’t tell if it’s a real person or not.”

Together, the two discuss how these technologies will shape the next phase of fintech innovation, from cross-border settlements to seamless user experiences.
