Every suit is a place you can visit.

Designing Second Star, we wanted four realms - one for each of the minor arcana suits & each one a corner of the island from Barrie’s story.

🐚 Shells — the Mermaid Lagoon. Where the tarot traditionally has Cups, we have shells: the suit of feeling, longing and enchantment, drawn from the lagoon where the mermaids sing and the water shows you what you want to see.

Illustrated by Mészáros Szandra the images show Wendy as the Queen of Shells.

Our next project, Second Star, is a tarot driven solo journaling game that guides you through the magical world of Neverland. I’ll be sharing more exciting details of the game in the coming weeks, but also the beautiful art created by the very talented Szandra Meszaros 💫
