New family project nearly finished, in our fave coastal little town…

From The Nile 🇪🇬 to the Buckinghamshire countryside 🇬🇧! Meeting people whilst travelling is one of the BEST parts, and being able to welcome some of them to our home on a cold, rainy British winter Sunday made us VERY happy!

Almost a year ago exactly, we shared a river cruise down the Nile with peeps from America, Germany, Italy, and Hong Kong and had the best few days. And today we got to see some of them again! SUCH a fab day. Now, , and , when are YOU coming to visit??

Greece 🇬🇷- Athens: last stop for the abroad leg of our summer travels, Athens! Why Athens? It was the cheapest place to fly to from Slovenia 🤣

We’ve been to a lot of the Greek Islands but never the mainland, so ticking off a bit of Greek history as well and eating yummy food and making the most of the hotel pool.

Slovenia 🇸🇮- Lake Bohinj: the colour of the water in this lakes and rivers is insane 🤯

Less than half an hour drive from Lake Bled is an even bigger lake! Just as clear and you can hire stand up paddle boards for €15 for 2 hours which seemed pretty good!

Next we’re heading to Slovenia’s coast to see the sea 🌊

Slovenia 🇸🇮- Vintgar Gorge: The view from our apartment and another 11,000 + steps today through a gorge with water on a par with the river we saw in a China. We made it back to the car just in time before it started chucking it down, and home in time for an afternoon nap! Just what holidays are made for 🤣🤣
