Edson was born i
n Mozambique, Africa but he is Portuguese from his Father side having lived in Portugal most of his Life but for the past 10 years he has been living in Plymouth, UK. Nicknamed as DiXoN, started to teach Kizomba beginners and improvers in Plymouth University for to the International Latin Society (former Plymouth Spanish & Latinos Society) since 2011. Founder of Super Kizomba DX, based in Plymouth, Southwest UK but we aim to promote Kizomba & Semba culture in the whole South-West as we have been teaching & MC & DJING as promoting events in several cities around the UK (Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Falmouth, Gloucester, London, Milton Keynes, Newquay, Penzance, Torquay, Truro, Reading, Aberdeen & Scotland). This Super Entertainer also as a few local and International Dance festivals under his Hero Belt such as FLAC festival, Latinfest, Salsa on the Pier for Abanico Salsa, Sardinia Afro Beach Festival, Ghetto Zouk Vs Kizomba Bootcamp in Prague, Ginga Boo KIZz Festival, All You Can Dance Latin Fest, Latin Motion NYE, Motion City, Bristol Salsa Congress, Aberdeen AfroLatin Festival, Bachaddiction Scotland, Summer Dance Festival in Portugal, EIDC (EGYPT International Dance Congress) & our own Tropical Summer Festival in Plymouth. Also able to teach Salsa beginners and Bachata beginners and improvers on request.
