I love watching movies in real cinemas - and it's even better when they're cinemas with character.

This converted church is the Utopia in Bordeaux.

It publishes a free newsletter with essays on all the movies (including old ones).

On the cover, it says 'Guaranteed, no 3D movies'

Passionate cinephiles can pretend they're critics by watching 11.30am screenings (for €5, vs the usual €8)

I'm a frequent visitor to Georgia, so am used to its cuisine, but I was blown away by my meal last night with the great in New York at

Brilliant use of Georgian spices and fresh herbs. Traditional with a twist (mushroom khinkali).

We washed it all down with all three colours of .wine which I'd taken along to show Christy, but there were delicious .mukhrani and wines on offer.
