Cherry Red Records has just released this 5 CD Boxed set titled: "Sheena Easton: Modern Girl - The Complete EMI Recordings Vol. One, 5CD Clamshell Box".

This boxset, sold out upon initial release and now to be re-issued on the 27th June as a 2nd pressing, features Fairwood writer Steve Thompson's evergreen hit song 'Please Don't Sympathise'. We were also pleased to see that Steve's liner notes are included in this release, which gives detailed background on how Sheena ended up recording the song and the influence the song would have on a young Celine Dion who would later also cover it.
