As Greeks and Cypriots around the world come together to celebrate The Feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Panagia)... one of the most significant days in the Greek Orthodox calendar, GreekBeat Radio is proud to support a dedicated Greek Heritage Showcase as part of Beats & Bites 2026.
🕑 From 2:15pm, shortly after the festival opens, enjoy a special 35-minute celebration of modern Greek music and culture, before the full Beats & Bites programme gets underway, featuring UK headline act Donae'o and an incredible afternoon of live entertainment.
Featuring two talented UK talents of Greek Cypriot heritage, both of whom have enjoyed continued support on GreekBeat Radio:
🎤 Zach Koullas – performing his latest release EROTAS, and some popular RNB & Greek hits accompanied by live bouzouki.
🎤 James Nic – performing his latest release HIGHER alongside Craig Heptinstall who will throwin a couple of extra songs to keep the vibe flowing
The showcase will also feature an exclusive Greek DJ-Live Fusion Set from DJ Funksy, combining contemporary dance music with authentic Greek sounds... the true The Praxis 'DJ-Live' experience style!
