📍Lisbon Food Spot: Praia no Parque

Lively vibes, delicious food, and… a giant giraffe?

Yep. That’s Praia no Parque, Lisbon’s answer to stylish, high-energy dining in the middle of a park.

Think: moody lighting, big plants, music pumping, and a literal giraffe towering over the bar (because why not?).

🍴Here’s what we ordered:
- Creamy burrata to start
- Rich and comforting truffle pasta
- A gooey, indulgent chocolate mousse to finish

The portions are perfect for sharing, and the non-alcoholic cocktails? Surprisingly incredible. Lisbon knows how to do a mocktail.

💡 It gets busy (for good reason), so book ahead if you’re planning a weekend visit.

📍Bonus tip: Take a walk through Parque Eduardo VII before or after, especially at golden hour. ✨

Have you ever dined somewhere with a giraffe centrepiece before? 😂

🌅 Early morning runs in a new city > any tour guide
There’s something magic about being up before the city fully wakes.

One of my absolute favourite ways to explore a place is on foot, with a quiet morning run, no maps, no agenda, just vibes. And Lisbon? These hills are no joke 😅

But wow, worth it.

In just a couple of runs I’ve passed:
🩷 The dreamy Pink Street before it’s full of partygoers
💛The iconic Lisboa sign (perfect for a cheesy photo stop)
🤍The grand arches of Praça do Comércio
💙 Praça Dom Pedro IV and Praça do Rossio, still sleepy in the morning light
🧡 And the sweeping views from Parque Eduardo VII & the miradouro at the top 🏞️

Running here feels like a mix of workout + treasure hunt: colourful tiled alleys, surprise viewpoints, sleepy cafés, and pastel buildings around every corner.

👟Do you run when you travel? Or do you sleep in and hit the pastries instead (no judgement, i do both)?
Let’s normalise treating new cities like playgrounds.

5 Ways to Treat Life Like a Holiday, No Annual Leave Required

Let’s be honest… waiting around for the “perfect time” to enjoy life?

That’s a trap.

You don’t need to be on a beach in Bali to feel relaxed, present, or inspired.

Here are 5 simple things you can do this month to treat your everyday life like a holiday, no out-of-office reply required 🌞

These are things I actually do to bring more joy into my weeks, especially when I’m not travelling. They don’t cost a lot, don’t take up heaps of time, and they really do work.

So if you’re craving holiday vibes without a flight involved, this one’s for you 💛

👇🏼 Save this for when you need a midweek pick-me-up, and tell me in the comments, what would YOU add to the list?

🪄 A little daily adventure - because life’s too short not to romanticise your everyday.

I recently got gifted the Daily Adventure Journal from and it’s honestly the kind of tool that fits perfectly into my treat life like a holiday mindset. ✨

📖 The journal has little prompts you can do daily or weekly, like:

“try a new drink from a local café.”

So I did exactly that: took myself on a solo coffee date ☕, tried a matcha drink I'd normally never order, AND had a matcha cookie to match.

Green-on-green excellence. ✅

I filled in the journal, took a breath, and genuinely felt so present.

The best bit?

It’s beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and has space for photos, memories, and whatever little joys you want to document.

It's journaling, travel, and self-reflection all rolled into one. 💛

💡 If you’ve been looking for a sign to slow down and start celebrating the small stuff, this is it.

June was soft, sparkly, sweaty, silly… and seriously full 💫

This month was a choose-your-own-adventure kind of story:
✨ Danced to Kesha at Mighty Hoopla
🎭 Watched Shucked in the rain at Regent’s Park
🌱 Ate 8 plant-based courses at a Michelin-starred restaurant
🦕 Got chased by dinosaurs at Jurassic Park Experience
🐱 Took the cats on a little family adventure
👟 Ran more kms than I planned (but loved it)
🪩 Line danced the night away at Buck n Bull
🎂 Celebrated birthdays & baby bumps with the people I love
💑 And squeezed in some quality time with David, my favourite adventure partner

It wasn’t a big travel month, but it was FULL of the things that make life feel good.

The kind of month that reminds you, that you don’t need a flight to feel free.

👇 What was one little win from your June?
