🤘 50 YEARS OF RAMONES: THE PUNK SPIRIT LIVES ON 🤘

50 years ago, four guys from Queens changed the course of rock forever. In 1976, the Ramones released their legendary debut album, delivering 14 songs in less than 30 minutes and helping define the sound, attitude and energy of punk rock.

Five decades later, their legacy remains stronger than ever.

This weekend at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, The Cretin Family took the stage for a special celebration, bringing together Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Tim Armstrong (Rancid), Travis Barker (Blink-182), and CJ Ramone for a tribute to one of punk’s most influential bands.

The night also featured surprise appearances from Fred Armisen, The Linda Lindas and Billy Idol, who closed the celebration with Ramones classics including Beat on the Brat and Blitzkrieg Bop.

The Ramones may be gone, but their music is still loud, fast and very much alive.

Tom Morello releases "Date Night," a powerful anthem inspired by the resistance during World War II

Tom Morello has unveiled "Date Night," the lead single from his upcoming solo album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, due out on September 25.

The song draws inspiration from the true story of Truus Oversteegen, Freddie Oversteegen, and Hannie Schaft, three young members of the Dutch resistance who risked their lives fighting Adolf Hitler's regime during World War II.

During live performances, Morello accompanies the song with a powerful on-screen message reinforcing his long-standing opposition to fascism, hatred, and discrimination.

The song's main riff was written by Roman Morello, Tom's son, while the album will also feature guest appearances from Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Kneecap, and Caleb Shomo (Beartooth).

With Date Night, Tom Morello once again blends explosive riffs with a powerful social message, staying true to the spirit that has defined his career since Rage Against the Machine.

🚨 SID WILSON REPORTEDLY OUT OF SLIPKNOT, ACCORDING TO TMZ

Slipknot's future may be facing another major shake-up. According to a report published by TMZ, DJ and keyboardist Sid Wilson was reportedly informed of his departure from the band last Friday, bringing an end to more than two decades as a member of the iconic lineup.

At the time of writing, neither Slipknot nor Sid Wilson has released an official statement, meaning the report remains unconfirmed and the reasons behind the alleged decision are still unknown.

If confirmed, Wilson would become the latest member of Slipknot's classic lineup to leave the band, following the departures of Chris Fehn and Craig Jones, as well as the losses of Paul Gray and Joey Jordison, marking another significant chapter in the band's history.

For now, fans are waiting for an official response to confirm or deny the report.

DragonForce adds Alissa White-Gluz as co-vocalist in historic lineup change

British power metal band DragonForce has officially announced the addition of Canadian vocalist Alissa White-Gluz as its new co-vocalist, marking a significant shift in the band’s structure.

According to the statement released on May 6, 2026, White-Gluz will join the band without replacing Marc Hudson, who remains the lead singer. The move introduces a dual fronted format for the first time in the group’s history.

Lejos de sentirse inconcluso, el material transmite intención, cierre y una claridad que lo convierte en algo más que un simple lanzamiento.

En lo sonoro, la banda se mantiene firme: riffs precisos, estructuras directas y esa oscuridad melódica que definió su identidad desde el inicio. No busca reinventarse, sino reafirmar lo que siempre los hizo esenciales.
