Poetry Inspiration

If my physical life was expiring
Fully aware of my demise
My path was unmerited
My conscious is cognizant of the life I chose

What would be the end result of a reckless life?
Where will be the pride in death; the wicked on a path of no return?
How will I plead for leniency where there's no repentance?
If I had no mercy, will the Maker of the universe be merciful?
Will I blame anyone for my futility?

Death no longer has mastery over you.
It only holds you captive if you accept it.
Its sting was crushed by God's infinite power.
His son replaced your betrayal with love.

Your acceptance gives hope.
Salvation gives you life.
And your expiring life becomes immortal.

The world is devastated,
The Earth is broken apart,
Nation's are in tears,
War is never ending.

Heaven is watching,
The devil is rising,
Angels are putting swords in place,
War is about to break up.

Behold, the world will be destroyed,
Everything burned up, and evil forgotten
