On Tuesday, Reebok rejected reports from Israeli media that it had requested the removal of its logo from Israel Football Association team jerseys.

A company spokesperson told Reuters: “Reebok is proud of our history of bringing people together across cultures, both on and off the field. Claims that we instructed the IFA to take our logos off the national team kits are completely false.”

Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Wednesday ordered the expulsion of Israel’s entire diplomatic mission after two Colombian nationals, Manuela Bedoya and Luna Barreto, were detained aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The flotilla, part of an international effort to break the blockade, was intercepted 150 nautical miles off the coast, which organisers described as a violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions.

Petro, writing on X, warned the incident would amount to “a new international crime by Benjamin Netanyahu” if confirmed, and announced the immediate termination of Colombia’s Free Trade Agreement with Israel.

Despite over 20 unlawful interceptions, one vessel, the Mikeno, managed to break through and enter Palestinian waters. The latest contact, less than two hours ago, placed the boat only a few miles from Gaza’s coast. Its current status is uncertain, but the loss of communication suggests it was likely intercepted near Gaza. So far, Israeli forces have detained at least 223 international activists.
