THE POWER OF INFORMATION 🇬🇧

Don’t underestimate the power of sharing!
Sometimes the information you come across here might be exactly what someone else needs — even if you don’t realize it.
So don’t mind those who say “we’re talking too much.” Keep sharing, keep inspiring. You never know who you might be helping today. 💡💖

The amount of times the information i get here has helped me i can't even count.

Filter the ones you need to and make do with the important ones.

MY JAPA STORY- Why I Decided to Japa🇬🇧

For me, leaving Nigeria wasn’t just about chasing “greener pastures.” It was about finding peace, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

Living with albinism in Nigeria came with so much stigma and misunderstanding. There were days I felt invisible, and other days I wished I was. I remember one particular job interview — I walked out of that room questioning my entire existence. That day, I knew something had to change. I couldn’t keep fighting to prove my worth in a place that refused to see it.

Should we even talk about healthcare? 😮‍💨 Because that one alone deserves its own chapter!

And now they say, “come back home.” But come back to what, exactly? To the same bullying, stigma, and system that made me leave in the first place? No, not me oh.

I’ll rather stay and build a life — a real home — where my children can grow up feeling safe, loved, and secure about their future. A place where they won’t have to explain their worth before being treated with respect.

Leaving was hard, but peace of mind? That one is priceless. 💛

Why would you decide to japa or why did you japa 😊

NIGERIAN PASSPORT RENEWAL- CLARIFICATION NEEDED 🇬🇧

You know that saying that "naija own dey always different" we are experiencing it right now so I came to share to know if anyone has experienced it and how they dealt with it.

So hubby's passport expired in September and we already decided to renew it before it expires. We found that NIS app that you can use to renew at the comfort of your home but it got to the biometrics and we tried and tried but to no avail so we opted to go to London for biometrics instead.

We have paid everything even gotten appointment date since August 9th till now no email for confirmation and each time we check it's still saying awaiting approval 😩😩

I have tried to call the London embassy but dem no dey pick call, biometrics is in November and I dont even know how to go about the approval thing.

Has anyone experienced this how did you go about it, did you later get confirmation?

Please what do you think we should do at this point.

HOW TO ANSWER THIS IN AN INTERVIEW 🇬🇧

How to Answer: “What are your short-term and long-term goals?” (Job Interview Tips)

This is one of the most common interview questions — and a great chance to show your ambition and alignment with the company!

Short-term goals:
Talk about what you want to achieve in the next 1–2 years — focus on learning, developing skills, and contributing to your role.
👉 Example: “In the short term, I want to strengthen my skills in project management and contribute to successful team projects.”

Long-term goals:
These should connect to growth and commitment — think leadership, expertise, or long-term value.
👉 Example: “In the long run, I’d like to take on more leadership responsibilities and help drive the company’s growth.”

✅ Tip:
Keep your goals realistic, aligned with the job, and show that you’re thinking about your future with the company. Don't go telling them how you plan to open a restaurant or boutique 🤣 make sure this answer aligns with the job at hand.

Good Luck 👍
