I’m really pulling out all the stops this week for my new series called ‘Iconic Women in Business’.

I will be doing features on women we (I will be doing polls and asking who are your favourites in the future) feel are powerful in business (all industries). This week I have chosen as she has never failed to inspire my ever growing fascination of powerful women.

Growing up, I didn’t have a lot of curvy women around me (I used to live in Australia where the women around me were mostly caucasian, skinny and blond. Whilst there isn’t anything at all wrong with that, I felt I just didn’t fit in. Then came along Kim, who re wrote the narrative on the female look. She made curvy the new beautiful, which allowed me to feel my most confident. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Not only did she change the narrative, but coming from a houseful of women and a generation where men were the breadwinners. She demonstrated that we, women, can do just about anything a man can do, if not better.

This week is a dedication to KIMBERLEY (I didn’t put a last name because she created her own identity and did not live off another man’s legacy)
