This week
Rich Monday Paper- Heart of July 2026 Edition 108-109
20 July 2026

Anchored by the biggest story the paper has carried all year, Warren Buffett ending his two-decade partnership with the Gates Foundation, alongside Andy Burnham's arrival in Downing Street, the EU's clothing destruction ban, and a running heatwave series covering health, packing, food and culture.
This edition also brings a retrospective through a genius' camera lens: Japanese photographer Shintarrow Yoshikawa completes his trilogy with Reverse Mediator, a body of work where landscapes appear to look back at the viewer rather than simply being looked at, the kind of patient, contemplative art we're glad to make room for alongside the week's harder headlines.
As ever, the aim is the same from the very first day we started: celebrate what's actually going right, in a newsroom, a courtroom, a chef's kitchen, or a photographer's decade of silent work, and report it with the same gratitude we have for life itself.

Available around the world, in over 60 international platforms, major bookstores and newsstands
( always free for members on our own newsstand)

Travel together! Two for one on Eurostar. If you have been waiting for a reason to go to Paris, there is a window between 9 and 13 July 2026, book two seats on Eurostar Plus or Premier and the fare drops by 50 per cent, applied automatically at checkout. No code. No catch. Just pick a companion, pick a city and go.
The routes on offer: London to Paris, London to Brussels and London to Amsterdam. Journeys run between 28 July and 23 September 2026, so there is a full stretch of late summer and early autumn to choose from. Paris sits just over two hours away. Brussels is close behind. Amsterdam takes a little under four, long enough to read half a book and short enough to still make lunch on arrival.
Plus and Premier fares carry more comfort and more flexibility than the standard ticket, and a discount this size brings them within reach of travellers who might normally look past them. Bring a partner, a sibling, a friend. Book while the window is open. It closes on 13 July.
Remember to pack a good book!

The best thing about summer? Time to read.
The long evenings. The deckchair. The book you cannot put down and the one you finish and immediately press into someone's hands. This is the season reading was made for, and we have gathered everything worth your while in the new Summer edition of Rich Books Magazine.
Start with the thriller everyone will be talking about. Jessica Knoll's Helpless is out today, and it is a single greedy weekend of a book. Then keep going, the Women's Prize winner, the science fiction that gave its heart to the robots, the memoirs everyone is reading, and the independent books you discover by word of mouth and never stop recommending.
And because summer is also the season to slow down and savour a single line, we raise a glass to our baby sister publication, Rich Poetry Magazine, out for the summer. Every verse is a universe. This is the time of year to get lost in one.
So find a patch of shade. Pick your next favourite. Then pass it on.
Best books are worth sharing.

Summer Vibes! All our summer editions are out and about! We need to mention our baby sister publication Rich Poetry Magazine joining our collection of good news!
Rich Monday Paper now has its own residence and the door is wide open! Remember two things before to walk in:
1. Good News Only!
2. Designed to bring the best in you! Combined Issue 106-107, 6 July 2026
Good news only. This double summer issue gathers a fortnight of stories worth slowing down for.
We climb with a record-breaking skier, walk the grounds of the Irish estate whose neighbours turned away a billionaires' secret retreat and stand before a Picasso in Antibes where two European leaders chose art over division.
We meet the young founders building something of their own, weigh what artificial intelligence means for the identity that is yours alone, and cheer the engineer chasing a land-speed record.
How is social media working for you? The Former IHG and Hyatt leaders behind the Hospitality Social Media Summit are inviting you to London in September to learn how to turn likes into a powerful revenue engine.
Beyoncé surprises the world with 'Morning Dew (Donk)', her first new song in two years and the opening note of a countdown to the twentieth anniversary of B'Day.
On the best gifts of all time, there is a book that we had to read this week.
From the lights of the Savoy to the quiet freedom of putting down your phone, these are insights, strategies and the latest success stories, told the way we always tell them, with gratitude and with hope.
