❗Plan ahead: Essential roadworks in Mitcham

From this Monday 14 July, Thames Water and SGN will carry out critical gas and water main upgrade works on Lower Green West in Mitcham. These major works are scheduled to take approximately nine weeks in two phases.

While these unavoidable works are being carried out, Merton Council will use the opportunity to improve and upgrade road surfaces and the drains to avoid the need to carry out this work in the future.

Mitcham Market is coming to Mitcham Market Square, CR4 2PF!
This Saturday 27 April, from 12pm-7pm, there'll be food and drink stalls and local businesses selling products and their crafts. Enjoy a fun day out in Mitcham with family and friends and support your local businesses!

The Council are piloting different events in the market square in response to the 'Mitcham Matters' public consultation where local residents expressed that they would enjoy more events in the Town Centre.

This project is supported by the Mayor of London through the Business Friendly Licensing Fund.
