JUST BEHOLD: Meet Nnenna, the first woman in Nigeria to raise two Osun governors and a billionaire businessman.

Mrs. Nnenna Esther Adeleke (née Akpara) is the only Nigerian woman whose two sons became elected governors of the same state at different times.

She also produced a billionaire entrepreneur, among others.

Her first son, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, was the first elected civilian governor of Osun State.

Her last boy, Ademola Adeleke, is the current governor of Osun State.

Nnenna was also the mother of Adedeji Adeleke, billionaire businessman and founder of Adeleke University and the Pacific Group, a conglomerate with investment in real estate and power generation.

The Pacific Group has 3 power-generating plants in Nigeria and it contributes over 55% of the power generation in our country.

Adedeji is also the father of Nigerian musician Davido.

Originating from Akwete, the Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, she was married to Senator Ayoola Adeleke, a prominent politician from Ede, Osun State, bringing together Igbo and Yoruba heritage in a family whose influence would eventually stretch far beyond both communities.

Two sons became governors of the same state at different times.

Another built a business empire and raised one of Africa’s biggest music star.

She practically raised kings before she was called home to rest.

What a dynasty!

Governor Adeleke has never been ashamed to praise God no matter the place, no matter the path, so long as it is God he is honoring.

And no one who truly stands firm in faith is ever put to shame. So his re-election comes as no much surprise.

You gave your all. You delivered people-centered projects. You cared for the aged and uplifted senior citizens. You strengthened infrastructure across Osun State. You remained accessible, accommodating, and above all, governed with the fear of God.

This is the reward of service, sincerity, and unwavering faith.
