Intro, intro

Our next release is bringing that straight up Future Funk sound and coming from an artist we have been in musical discussions with for well over 2 years! Pleased to present Clearance with his solo debut 3 track EP entitled “Strange Kind”.

For those eager eared followers Clearance first featured on our Puzzles VA back in 2022; he’s come a long way since then clocking up releases on Truth Hertz, Kinetic Sound and Trust Audio to name a few.

The Funk starts from the off with this release, 3 vibe filled riddums perfect for DJ sets or for individual listening. Simplistic and effective drums with weighty bassline’s and that spicy funk sprinkled over the top, perfecto.

This Saturday we take the first step in developing a healthy & beautiful deep underground D&B scene in Hemel Hempstead.

Electronic music across Hertfordshire has been lacking since the days we were growing up and local ravers deserve more places to be able to go and listen to top tier Drum & Bass and other electronic music without always trekking into central London.

Partnering with the which is the perfect venue for it with weighty sound systems across two rooms and plenty of space to get your groove on. This Saturday we will be upstairs and there will be garage downstairs.

We expect serious sounds and good vibes all night so if you are local and usually go into central London for your nights out, come down and show your support so we can continue bringing bigger and better nights with top artists to the Volts regularly 🙌

Class of the year and some other music related good times thrown in.

We weren’t super busy on the release front but proud of the music that went out the amazing artists and friends behind it. 23 was certainly full of great memories and great people.
