I didn’t come from privilege. I came from Bangladesh with a dream and the pressure to make it work — no backup plan, no financial cushion. Just me, my ambition, and a student visa.
I worked a part-time job technically six days in a week😁. Paid every penny of my tuition fees myself. Skipped hangouts, missed sleep, and kept going even when it felt like everything was too much. I had days where I questioned if it was worth it — when Working 6 days in a week, and still would not able to pay tuition fees on time .
I could’ve taken the easier path — worked , made decent money, maybe sent some back home. But I chose something harder: a degree.
today, I graduated. This degree didn’t come easy — it came with sacrifice, hard- work ,silence, and self -discipline. I don’t post this for praise. I post this to remind myself that I did what I said I would.🇧🇩🎓🇬🇧
