Stepping out for a friend that was there for me on one of my darkest time in 2023.
Few months after we returned from our family trip to Nigeria , I returned to work only for us to be told that the service will be closed down .

It was a beautiful job I was doing from home , supporting NHS professionals in going though the effect of covid. It affected so many in different ways ; emotionally, maritally, financially and other wise. This was my job and I enjoyed it. Then suddenly this news came . I was not prepared emotinally and otherwise., I just travelled home with a family of six , did a huge project at home then the news.

It was a lot but this lady, among others stood by me. Today, I want to show her how much I don't take her support for granted. She lost her Dad and I am going to pay a condolence visit.

Its good to be good.

We have fours stairs in our home and I love it but sometimes like now that I just came back from work , I will like to relax somewhere else apart from the living room. My little boy is always in the living room because he e loves his game on big screen TV.

I do sit on the stairs , sometimes on the dining chair but they are never relaxing .

So last weekend when we started renovating , painting and moving things around , I told my husband to please let me create a mini living room. I said he should let me maximise the space we have after its our home.

He agreed that I can do whatever I like and however I like it. Hmmm , come and see me on Saturday , I was busy trying things , moving things around even when its not necessary.

But , I am glad that at last I got a relaxing place downstairs...yeah. its quite because everyone goes to their rooms, the little one in the parlour and my humble self in my quite corner.

I am so happy. See my relaxing corner, isn't it nice ?.

Now I have better understanding of why someone was concerned about the creator’s child. It was with good intentions. Ple...
