Vlisco is a Dutch brand known for luxury wax prints with intricate designs. Ankara is a general term for African wax prints, often mass-produced. The former are usually of higher quality whereas the latter is more casual. While Vlisco symbolizes prestige, Ankara can reflect everyday African fashion.
