Final decision: mini skirt and crop top bandeau - unless I’m struck by an epiphany! 😉 I added a touch of lace at the hem of the skirt. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Good morning!

Please help me decide what to sew with this Ankara fabric: a mini skirt, a maxi skirt, or a pair of shorts?

I made a super cute two-piece outfit -a skirt and blouse- from this stunning Ankara fabric. But then I was left with some extra fabric and thought, "Hmm… not letting this join the fabric stash again!" 😅So… shorts it is! We’ve still got a bit of sunshine before winter fully kicks in, so why not make the most of it? I've already cut the pattern - next project loading! 😉

I drafted a pretty blouse, cut out the pattern, and I'm now working on turning it into reality. I did make some alterations to the pattern along the way. Stay tuned.

I’m currently away on holiday, and instead of enjoying myself, I keep thinking about what I’m going to sew next when I get back home. lol 😉😉.

Holiday mode activated. This is my final sew before I lock up my sewing room for my holidays. I thought I’ll sew something for myself for being a good girl😉😉.

I am usually a shorts and top/T-shirt, short dress/leggings kind of traveller but I’m thinking of taking this dress with me on holidays. We’ll see.
