Red Rocks and Remlinger Farms were both three show residencies and are each pressed up here as 9LP box-sets. Each box-set contains three triple LP trifolds for each show (on 180g coloured vinyl) in a deluxe hand-numbered slipcase – with exclusively licensed photos by Makayla Guthrie. Recorded by the band’s crew, mixed by Stu Mackenzie and mastered for vinyl by Fuzz Club. Shipping early/mid Jan. After the limited edition ‘bloody metallic’ version flew out, this second version of ‘PetroDragonic Apocalypse Live’ lands on red/pink buzzsaw-shaped vinyl. This double LP live version of the band’s 2023 thrash metal epic was pieced together from shows on their 2024 North American tour. Exclusively mixed and mastered by James Plotkin from the soundboard stems provided by the band. In a gatefold jacket with artwork by Elzo Durt. Shipping late November.

Clocking in at nearly 9 minutes of raw, scuzzy power, ‘misfit’ is a menacing, slow-grinding clash between floor-shaking EBM and industrial krautrock repetition. It arrives following their 2024 ‘PRATA’ LP, the recent vinyl reissue of their debut ‘DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING’ LP and in the midst of relentless touring across Europe and the UK. The full digital/physical release and accompanying video by Gabriel Nery will be unleashed on Halloween (Oct 31st) but the A-side is streaming everywhere now.

“This song was created with the idea of a soundtrack for a horror movie in mind. We were invited to record a track right after finishing the recording of our second album PRATA. At the time, we didn’t have any song or idea ready, but we accepted the challenge. Around that period, Boy Harsher had released ‘The Runner’ and was putting out ‘My Animal’, which was very inspiring for us to start shaping our proposal. It was also a time when we were watching a lot of horror films, and I think all of that combined helped the idea develop naturally. The song tells a story of a hunt, an evil mind; perhaps a stalker, or simply paranoia. PLAY IT LOUD!”

Ashinoa announce new album ‘Un’altra Forma' and share the lead single and title-track, alongside an equally dreamy 16mm video. Whilst still driven by the synthesised motorik beats and rhythms and experimental electronica of 2022's 'L'Orée', on its follow up Ashinoa move into new, dreamlike territory – assuming 'another form', as the title translates. On ‘Un’altra Forma’, the band enlists a cast of players between Lyon, Venice and Beaujeu and expands the Ashinoa palette with clarinet, saxophone, flute and piano, treading into hazy psychedelic jazz waters. The result is a record that balances heavier head-down electronics and moments of breezy, downtempo bliss.

“The first few seconds of ‘Un’altra Forma’ give a clue to the protagonists of this title: Venezia and its lagoon”, Matteo Fabbri says of the track, which was borne out of an improvisation with Venetian flutist Andrea Vecchiato and Fabbri on the Lyra-8, before being re-arranged with Romain Vasset on clarinets and sax and Alberto Collodel on bass clarinet: “‘The city' is a geographical environment that people usually think to have grasped, but it was by visiting Venezia that I realised that 'the city' can be radically different from anything I've ever experienced. The gentleness of its nights and the delicacy of its balanced contrast with the history and strength of a people who chose to build a city of stone on water.”
