'Infinity Baby', the new album Baby Cool's new album, is out now via Bad Vibrations Fuzz Club in Europe 🌀 The second full-length from the Bundjalung, Australia-based artist Grace Cuell (also of Nice Biscuit) is streaming now and you can grab a copy on limited marble vinyl here: babycool.lnk.to/infinitybaby

Grace Cuell writes songs as a way of making sense of the world around her. On 'Infinity Baby', she takes a gentle look at what it means to be human as the pendulum swings between shadow and light. Where her debut 'Earthling on the Road to Self Love' felt almost whimsical in its search for meaning, Infinity Baby is more grounded and honest:

"The record is a deep dive into the shadows around me—some I cast myself and others are cast by people and things beyond my control. In the songs there is honesty, cynicism, love and a sense of surrender (sometimes defeat). I seem to be spinning around in a vortex of life meaning everything and sometimes meaning nothing. In the end, I always circle back to some sort of hope around it all."

Working alongside producer Samuel Joseph (King Gizzard, Baby Rainbow, Family Jordan) and more, the album was made in the hills of the Northern Rivers. Musically, Baby Cool continues to blur psychedelia, folk and kraut-pop, with the spaciousness of her natural surroundings ever-present in the songwriting and production.

release new single ‘Acting’ 🌊 It’s the third cut from the Cornish garage-rockers’ incoming ‘Green Hills’ album due out July 3rd on Fuzz Club! Stream / watch the video now and grab a copy on limited clear green / black vinyl via 🔗 in bio

Out everywhere now and following recent singles ‘Faux Pillars’ and ‘De Groene Heuvels’, ‘Acting’ is a tumbling sun-bleached psychedelic pop offering sung by lead guitarist Fin. Fin says: “Acting is a song inspired by the face someone made when I excitedly told them I got a job as a cleaner. An erratic waltz recorded in just 37 takes, the accompanying video captures the sauna-like conditions from whence it came. Notice Alex’s eyes when he has to turn the fan off, waiting for the whirrs to subside.”

Recorded on reel-to-reel in a friend’s living room between trips to the beach, the band’s debut long-player ‘Green Hills’ features a collection of lo-fi garage-psych numbers that vary in feel – sometimes twisting and erratic, sometimes sedated and meandering – but all drenched in tape hiss and left out on the pebbles to dry.

Emerging from South Cornwall’s grassroots psych scene – through various chance encounters at Kernowbeat (formerly Kernow Psych Society) shows in Falmouth – The Heavenly Bodes channel a shared love of classic 60s acid-garage into something immediate and intimate, and specifically rooted in the here and now of the West Coast cornucopia they call home. Fully self-produced, it captures the band’s loose, unpolished spirit – landing somewhere between scrappy garage-rock abandon and woozy Velvets cool.

Geelong/Melbourne garage-psych group (led by Matt Blach of ) announce new album ‘Less Louder’ and share the lead single ‘Resister’ – stream it now and pre-order the Fuzz Club / exclusive splatter vinyl at the 🔗 in bio

Due out September 11th, ‘Less Louder’ is a blissed-out, harmony-driven record firmly in the “Sunday Afternoon” category, as Blach puts it. All breezy, deeply-infectious melody and hazy jangle, it foregrounds softer, more acoustic production, more piano and Rhodes – dialling down the distorted lysergic grooves you might expect. Drifting through a more psychedelic pop and folk indebted sound with touches of surf and doo-wop thrown in.

On new single ‘Resister’, out everywhere today, Blach says: “Resister is about new romance, or something that seems too good to be true. Another learning curve, something new. Also something you want to hold on to. People may come and go in your life for reason and that’s important to appreciate. The clip (by Willem Kingma and Kel Blackmore) explains it in an intentional comedic way. We can often feel like we look like a fool, but it’s what it is intentionally meant to be about. ‘Fools for love’
