Inside the new Dacia "Hipster" EV design study. The interior echoes the boxy shapes of the external bodywork, especially with the vertical windows and windscreen. The seats have a simplified design featuring a visible frame and a technical mesh fabric, while the front seats are combined to create a bench seat. With a folding rear seat, the boot capacity ranges from 70 litres with four passengers to 500 litres with two passengers, and the tailgate spans the full width of the car, opening in two sections. A particularly clever detail is the rear lights' design – located behind the tailgate window, they do not need a separate glass panel...

Dacia's designers look to have been inspired by the original Mini and Volkswagen Beetle in creating a new city car concept that weighs less than 800 kg while seating four. The EV, named the "Hipster", is only 3 metres long, 1.55 metres wide, and 1.53 metres tall, which makes it shorter than any car on the market. Still, it offers four full-sized seats and 500 litres of cargo space when the back seats are folded down – enough room for a washing machine!
