Less than a week until we touch down at Annecy Festival 2026... and it’s going to be a packed one. Sessions, meetings, networking, and if we’re lucky, a film or two.

Highlight of our week will be our panel with the brilliant director Leah Nelson, where we’ll be discussing our work on her animated feature debut, Tangles, which is also in competition. If it’s not in your schedule yet, fix that now 👉 Tuesday 23rd June, 2:30pm, Rotunde de l’Europe.

Both our London and Vancouver teams will be on the ground, flying the flag for sound in animation and showing what our crew can do. If you’re heading to Annecy and want to talk sound, or just fancy a coffee (or something stronger), get in touch or drop us a DM.

This week, ‘World War II with Tom Hanks’ has finally arrived on screens.

A truly monumental undertaking from and its global partners: 20 hours, 57 contributors, and Tom Hanks executive producing, introducing and narrating one of the most ambitious television histories of WWII ever made.

For the first time since The World at War, a series has attempted to tell the story of WWII on this scale. Fifty years on, there is so much more to uncover. When that landmark series aired, much of the Eastern Front remained unknown, the Enigma project was still secret, and the Japanese perspective on the Pacific War had barely been heard in the West.

Flying the flag for immersive audio, our Group Head of Sound, Luke Hatfield, will be joining the panel “Designing for the Nervous System: Neuroaesthetics in Practice”, as well as demonstrating the power of spatial audio and immersive storytelling.
