🎥🐉🚁 Many thanks to Zoe Mutter and the illustrious team at British Cinematographer for letting us re-live the task of 'Chasing The Dragon' while working with DoP, Bill Pope ASC and VFX supervisor, Christian Manz (Framestore) on the live action, How To Train Your Dragon (out June).

As Manz mentions, Jeremy Braben and our team were recommended, having worked together on Fantastic Beasts. Manz says, "Ultimately, we wanted people in the cinema to feel like we'd felt when zooming along in a heli - you're in a tight canyon, then the world opens up and everything is stretched below you."

🧙‍♀️✨ The official trailer for 'Wicked: For Good' is finally here!

The choice to split Wicked into two films came down to doing justice to the story’s Broadway roots. 🎭 Composer Stephen Schwartz said it best: 'Defying Gravity' is such a show-stopping Act 1 closer, it just made sense to end Part One there. Trying to cram it all into one movie would’ve meant losing some truly iconic songs and character moments.

🎬 Part Two lands in cinemas 21st November 2025, picking up where the magic left off and giving Oz the space it deserves.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, this screen adaptation features helicopter and drone aerial sequences captured by our talented team. 🚁 📹

Counting down to release day this November!

We recently had the pleasure of working with two formidable female cinematographers, both of whom received well-deserved nominations at the 39th ASC Awards.

Huge congratulations to Catherine Goldschmidt for her ASC nomination for House of the Dragon- Season 2, Episode 8: ’The Queen Who Ever Was.’ Goldschmit’s striking cinematography successfully brought the world of Westeros to life in an epic season finale.

Another huge congratulations to Alice Brooks, nominated in the Theatrical Feature Film category for her work on Wicked. Brooks created a breathtaking vision for Oz using sets instead of bluescreeens, even planting a staggering nine million tulips to bring this magical world to life- setting the stage for what she calls ‘the most beautiful love story ever.’

We are thrilled to celebrate these two wonderful women.

Great to see our CEO, Jeremy Braben Assoc BSC, featured in Definition Magazine’s 'Aerial Filming Roundtable', where a panel of high-flying specialists gives the magazine their views from the top.

Read about the shift to using smaller cameras, which is enabling multi camera arrays to be used on drones. Disarm yourself of some common misconceptions about when to use a drone or a helicopter. Or hear our take on the art of communications management. Huge thanks to Definition Magazine for including our insights!

🏆📺🎥 The Golden Globes nominations are out, and Slow Horses S3 has been nominated for 3 categories: 'Best Drama Television Series’, ‘Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series' - Gary Oldman’ and 'Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television' - Jack Lowden’! We loved working on this production, directed by Saul Metzstein and Adam Randall, featuring a star-studded cast, including the inimitable Kristin Scott Thomas. Good luck to Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden and also to the DoPs involved, whom our team is very proud to work. We've been capturing aerial sequences using drone and helicopter for several episodes.

If you haven’t watched Slow Horses yet, now’s the time! Don’t miss out.
